Welcome to our questions and answers page. This page will answer the most frequently asked questions and will be updated as often as it can be. If you think we have missed anything out then drop us a line and we will answer it straight away.

Q. What is an Internship?

A. Our Internship programs take you from a non diver for example to a professional level say divemaster or open water scuba Instructor. These courses are open to anyone in reasonably good health. You come here for 3-6 months stay and learn to be a professional included in the course is a room a full set of equipment and all your course materials

Q. When can I start?

A. You can start any time you want but remember you need 100 logged dives to become an Instructor and 60 to become a divemaster also to become an instructor you need to be an open water diver for six months

Q. What visa do I need ?

A. You require a student Visa to be able to do any professional course as there is some work involved and with out this you will have problems. We write you a letter take it to your local Thai consulate and you will have this for a year

Q. How long does it take?

A. Each internship takes 3-6 months depending on your individual circumstances

Q. What is not included?

A. Your PADI professional fees are not included. Your water and electric, food and drink when you are not on the boat. laundry service.

Q. How much does day to day living cost?

A. This is a hard one as people live different ways. Local food pork fried rice under a dollar. Full English breakfast under 2 dollars. The most important one the beer costs around 1 and a half dollars in a bar. Taxi's are cheep under 2 dollars anywhere in pattaya. Motorbike rent for a month around 75 dollars

Q. Can I Split my Internship?

A. There is no problem splitting any of the internships due to their length. We know trainees have different commitments. So if you want Christmas with the family no problem you simply pick up the training where you left off.

Q. What equipment I will receive with the package and is it mine after the course?

A. All of the equipment supplied buy us is brand new high quality Scubapro, BCD, regulators, etc. All our equipment is well known brands, it is yours to keep from the moment that you arrive and take with you were ever you go on to work in the world. This equipment is yours and will be needed for your dive career. It includes every piece of dive equipment required to be a divemaster or instructor.

Q. How many days will I need to study?

A. This is dependant on the dive student and also how you are. Some people grasp it straight away and some people take a little longer. We are here to guide you every step of the way. For example if you are already a diver and wish to take your time you can study 4-5 days per week and take on another activity. We think a sailing course up to Captain is a good one. If you are a novice diver working your way up through the ranks usually a 5 day week. This will normally comprise of 2 days in the classroom and 3 days on the boat, It is all good fun and interesting. Some self study will be expected Your leisure time can be spent how ever you want Fishing, Sailing, Sight Seeing or take advantage of our unlimited diving policy.

Q. Are there any AGE restrictions?

A. You do need to be 18 years old in order to become a PADI professional Divemaster or Instructor. 17 year olds can go up to Rescue diver certification and then wait for the following training. There is NO maximum intern age for the internship. If you are younger than this that would like to get involved in the scuba diving industry we added the Master Scuba Diver program that takes dive trainees up to the highest possible recreational scuba diving qualification ready for when they turn 18 and they can them become a dive professional and work in the dive industry.
